A public address or “PA” system is an electronic amplification system which comprises of a mixer, amplifier & loudspeakers and is used to distribute  the sound throughout a venue or building.

PA systems are commonly used for example, in supermarkets to call staff to a till or in a large warehouse environment to contact an employee and tell them to come to the office.
